Meet Amy & Nathan. I’ve known this wonderful couple for awhile and was so happy when I heard the news that they were engaged! Amy & Nathan initially had a Fall 2021 wedding date set. They loved the idea of a fall wedding and the foliage. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they had to move the date to August 2021. Making the best of the situation, Amy and Nathan opted for a fall engagement shoot instead! I was elated to capture gorgeous fall images for this special couple. Here are some of my favorites from our session together.
I love the colors they chose to wear for the session. It looks so beautiful against the fall foliage.
Amy and Nathan met in a high school culinary class 6 years ago and have been sweethearts ever since. Who would have thought that a basic cooking class would have led to finding their soulmates?
Don’t you love the way they look at each other?
What a stunning ring!!! Such a unique rose gold band! A little fact about Nathan…he worked a lot of overtime so that he could pay off every cent of this ring before he popped the question. How awesome is that? He is such a hard worker and it’s commendable. Not to mention, he kept it a secret from Amy the entire time!
Nathan said one of his favorite characteristics of Amy is her sense of humor. I think this photo shows that perfectly! It’s great being around a couple who can laugh and have fun!
While Nathan and Amy were on vacation with Nathan’s family, he popped the question. It was in beautiful Duck, NC. Nathan proposed on a small pier off the boardwalk.
So happy for this gorgeous couple and their upcoming nuptials!
Congratulations, Amy & Nathan! Wishing you all the best on your wedding day and many blissful years ahead!
