“I really just want only one good photo,” Caleb said to his mom, Maria. This came at no surprise to Maria. Even though Caleb is in his final year of high school and has a lot to be proud of, having an official senior portrait session was not high on his priority list. “Caleb doesn’t really like photos so he’s either going to be your toughest or easiest client,” Maria told me before the session. I’m happy to report that this easy-going senior enjoyed his photo session and we were able to get a lot more than just one good photo! 🙂
Caleb is from the beautiful state of South Carolina. His parents, Maria and Randy, previously lived in Pittsburgh. As they were making visits to potential colleges, they were stopping briefly in Pittsburgh to attend a wedding. What a great opportunity! We were able to squeeze in a senior photo session the morning of the wedding.
Caleb likes the Pittsburgh skyline so we had to get some photos with the city in the background.
What was your favorite subject in school? If you said, “Science” then you and Caleb would get along well! Caleb loves science and thinking of unique ways to solve problems. He’s known to think outside the box. In middle school he was on the Robotics team. His high school didn’t offer a Robotics team. However, Caleb started his own Science Club last year at his high school. How impressive is that? It is so inspiring to see young leaders using their God-given talents to make a positive difference in the world!
Caleb recently attended an aerospace conference in Washington, DC! It seems very fitting that he wants to major in mechatronics engineering, which encompasses computer, mechanic, and electronic engineering fields.
I love these very characteristic photos of Caleb deep in thought. What invention is he thinking of now?
We also took some portraits around Station Square. His mom commented how the flowers in bloom really softened the harsh look of the bridges of the Steel City. I could not agree more! We had to capture some shots at this location.
Caleb is such a down-to-earth guy. Although taking photos is not his idea of a good time, he took the experience in stride.
I love the relaxed photos we got at this location.
I’m so glad we captured portraits of this special senior! Such a great way to spend a quick trip in Pittsburgh!
Congratulations, Caleb! You are an amazing young man with unlimited potential! Wishing you all the best!
